Red cabbage and sweet-potato patat


French fries and steak! The favor of many men - and women. Also, make this healthier version with sweet potatoes and red cabbage!

Ingredients



  1. 750 gr red cabbage
  2. hand cranberries
  3. 4 steak
  4. pinch of pepper
  5. pinch of salt
  6. little thyme
  7. dash of olive oil
  8. tablespoon butter
  9. 2 apples
  10. pinch of cinnamon


Preparation 


Start by preparing the sweet potato cane as it takes the most time.

Sweet potato cane:



  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
  2. Cut the (unpeeled) potatoes into pieces.
  3. Put them on the baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the fries with olive oil.
  5. Add the paprika, the oregano and the sea salt.
  6. Put in the oven for about 25 minutes; skip an interim.
  7. The French fries are cooked when they are soft inside and colored a bit brown on the outside.


Steak & red cabbage



  1. Marinate the steaks in a bowl or a deep plate and add a dash of olive oil and a pinch of pepper, salt and thyme. Scoop the whole together.
  2. Remove the core of the apples with an apple drill or knife and cut into slices. Sprinkle with some cinnamon.
  3. Heat a knob of butter in a pan and fry the apple slices for 2 minutes on both sides.
  4. Heat the red cabbage on a low heat (stir regularly).
  5. Heat a frying pan over a high heat with a generous dash of sunflower oil. Put the steak in the pan and sear it on both sides. Then let him cook on a lower fire with some butter for the right taste (weird, medium or well done).
  6. Add the cranberries to the red cabbage and mix the whole.
  7. Put the steak and serve it with a few slices of baked apple, steak and the sweet potato.
  8. Garnish if necessary with a piece of thyme.
